Lifting Lives at Anderson’s

Anderson’s Care Home has served older people in Elgin and Moray for more than 190 years and remains one of Scotland’s best-known charitable care homes. To continue to provide high-quality care we must maintain and modernise our essential infrastructure and our priority for 2026-2028 is to raise funds towards the installation of a modern passenger lift serving Easton House.

The lift is essential infrastructure that improves accessibility for residents with mobility difficulties, supports safe movement of equipment, improves efficiency for staff, assists emergency evacuation and emergency service access and enhances resident wellbeing and comfort.  It will improve daily life, dignity, accessibility and safety for residents now and for future generations.

The fundraising target is £500,000 over a two-year period.  This target reflects anticipated construction costs, inflation, professional fees, contingency requirements and provision for other essential infrastructure improvements should additional funds be raised.

We intend to secure these funds through a combination of grant applications, trust and foundation fundraising, community fundraising, corporate support, major donor cultivation, digital fundraising and legacy and regular giving.

Please help us if you can.
